I went here expecting a normal breakfast, but it ended up being one of those places where you accidentally order more than you planned because everything sounds good. The restaurant has a comfortable old-school breakfast feeling, nothing flashy, just people sitting down for coffee and a good meal. I ordered the Dutch Baby, apple pancakes, bacon, and a cup of coffee. The Dutch Baby was the thing that caught my attention first. It comes out looking huge and almost like a dessert, but the texture is lighter than expected with a nice buttery flavor. The apple pancakes had soft cooked apples throughout and a sweet cinnamon taste that made them feel different from regular pancakes. The bacon was crispy without being dried out, and the coffee kept getting refilled while I slowly worked through everything. It felt like the kind of breakfast place where you don't rush. Janette was our waitress, and was amazing! The food, we came during lent, so no eating meat, but let me tell you, the spinach cheese omelette and hash browns , were amazing, and, not greasy at the bottom at all! ( sorry i hop, dennys, and others ; * ) pecan waffle, breakfast desert, pancakes= soft fluffy buttermilk melt in your mouth.5 stars, when you leave disneyland , and want a delicious experience, COME HERE ASAP! COFFEE WAS AMAZING TOO!

This place is now a must stop every time we’re in Anaheim. We’ve been twice and food is delicious, servers are friendly and prices are fair. The best biscuits and gravy, pancakes, and chicken fried steak I’ve ever had. Whipped butter is also amazing. Everything we’ve tried we’ve loved. Definitely recommend!

Charming atmosphere, but bring your wallet The Original Pancake House definitely has that nostalgic, old-school charm that makes for a fun morning out. It’s clearly a local favorite because it was packed and buzzing with energy when I visited. The Logistics: Be aware that parking can be a little tight if you arrive during peak hours, and because the restaurant isn't very large, you should expect a bit of a wait for a table. However, I was impressed by how efficiently they run things—the line actually moves rather quickly. The Food & Value: While the experience is great, the prices feel a bit steep for breakfast. Paying nearly $20 for an egg omelet and almost $17 for the famous 49er Flapjacks is hard to justify, even with the classic atmosphere and solid service. For me, the quality of the food and the price point don't quite match up. It’s a wonderful spot for a nostalgic treat or a s
